Cheng Kung Journal of Historical Studies · Tomorrow History StudioThe Department publishes the Cheng Kung Journal of Historical Studies, Historical Site Survey, and Shihsui, while the Tomorrow History Studio takes on the planning and execution of the Department's projects.
Departmental Journals

Founded in 1974, the journal uses anonymous peer review and publishes one issue each June and December, along with occasional thematic special issues.

Tomorrow History Studio
Established by the Department of History, the Tomorrow History Studio is a team responsible for planning, carrying out, and managing the Studio's projects, and for the management and operation of its space, equipment, and related resources.
The Studio is organized by area of work into several teams: Fieldwork, Database Development, Design & Marketing, Media Production, and AI Lab. Each team plans and carries out projects in its own field, and together they advance the Studio's work.

Our Services
Equipment Loans
The Studio lends a wide range of digital equipment, including video cameras, lens kits, audio recording equipment, pen displays, and scanners.
Document & Book Scanning
The Studio is equipped with scanners and offers document and book scanning. Please bring the materials you wish to scan; you may scan them yourself or ask a student assistant for help. For large scanning jobs, please email us in advance to book a time slot.
Equipment Training
The Studio offers instruction in the operation and use of a variety of digital devices and equipment, helping faculty and students become familiar with how the equipment works.
Event Posters on Digital Signage
To display an event poster on the digital signage in the Department Building, please email the original poster file and event details to the Studio, and we will arrange for it to be posted.
Event Promotion & Documentation
To have event information posted on the Department's website or social media, please email event photos and a written description to the Studio. If you need on-site photography, video recording, or other documentation at an event, you may also email us in advance to request a student assistant. Support depends on staff availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Website & Social Media
The Studio helps maintain the Department's website and social media platforms, compiling and updating information on Department events, achievements, and related news, and continually promoting the Department's teaching, research, and academic activities.
